We’ve done plenty of Sub-style builds before, but this time… we went bold. The star of the show here is that gradient blue dial – textured, vibrant, and full of character. It shifts beautifully in the light and gives the watch a summer-ready contrast that you just can’t ignore.

That Case + Bezel Combo

The base is our trusty 40mm Sub-style case – brushed and polished stainless steel with solid wrist presence but still super wearable. On top, you’ve got a black ceramic bezel insert, clean and sharp, with a fully lumed pip that glows in C3 green. Classic vibes with a twist.

Dial Game Strong

Now let’s talk dial.
This gradient blue dial isn’t just pretty – it’s a vibe. It fades from deep navy to electric blue and has a subtle textured finish that gives it a bit of depth.
Add BGW9 lume on the indices, a nicely placed date window, and you’ve got something that looks great by day and glows cool blue by night.

Hands + Lume? Double Trouble.

We went with polished Mercedes-style hands, but here’s the twist: they’re filled with C3 lume, which means this is a dual lume build. The dial glows icy blue, and the hands glow a classic green – it looks wild at night and makes reading time super easy.

To keep it clean and summer-ready, it’s paired with a black CTS rubber strap – comfy, sporty, and perfect for daily wear.
